Anyone aged 16+ and above can participate; no calligraphy experience is required.

About the instructor:

After years of immersion in the natural science sphere (six years study in Zhejiang University and three years working in the high-tech realm), Hong Zhao shifted her interests into spiritual science with the birth of her first child. Through self-study and learning from different teachers, she delved into ancient religions, philosophies, all kinds of arts, especially Chinese calligraphy, and anthroposophy in order to understand the mysteries of the world and human beings. After finishing her Waldorf teacher training in California, she taught art and science in Waldorf schools, including Chinese calligraphy from elementary school to high school.
