Teaching Communicatively Implies a Definition of Communication:
Communication is the expression, interpretation, and sometimes negotiation of meaning in a given context. It is also purposeful.
Language is Too Abstract and Complex to Teach and Learn Explicitly (through grammar and memorization).
Language Acquisition is Constrained by Internal and External Factors.
Instructors and Materials Should Provide Appropriate Level Input and Interaction.
